This is my last post of a movie review. I am going to focus on a different subject which I plan to start soon.
One night, I saw one of the movies on HBO, The Walk. It was an original movie, I was so curious to watch this whole movie. Before watching the movie, I did my research on a famous wire-walker, Philippe Petit and his real-life story. It was stunningly intriguing! My curiosity of reading Philippe’s wire walking experience on the internet kinda pushed me into watching this movie.

Movie Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Movie Summary: Twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man – Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – has ever walked in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. Guided by his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy (Ben Kingsley), and aided by an unlikely band of international recruits, Petit and his gang overcome long odds, betrayals, dissension, and countless close calls to conceive and execute their mad plan. Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis uses advanced technology in the service of an emotional, character-driven story. THE WALK is a love letter to Paris and New York City in the 1970s, but most of all, to the Towers of the World Trade Center. – Amazon Product Description.
The Walk movie was part of a true story about Philippe Petit, who walked on a long wire between two buildings, The Towers of the World Trade Center. That was fantastic and artistic. Sadly, the incident of WTC destroyed on 9/11/2001 with Philippe’s frame signature on a top on one of the towers. Still, the memory remains in the remembrance of that incident.
What I did like about this movie: The movie was fantastically amazing! I cannot describe these words for this movie. I was very impressed by Philippe’s stubbornness of his risky walk on the wire over the space between two buildings, even though he did not care about his injured feet which he accidentally stepped on with the nail. I really admired that Philippe was a highly motivated person who tried this feat and that he did not show any fear of heights, he strongly focused on walking balance on the wire.
What I did not like about this movie: I have nothing to say negative about this movie. Everything in this movie was incredibly intriguing.
