You may be aware that I already had my cochlear implant surgery last Monday. I have to stay at home for awhile until I get recovered. Last weekend, my husband was not aware of this movie yet. I wished that he could have seen this movie. I told him to watch this movie again.
I watched You’ve Got Mail, which made me feel so rested since my surgery. The whole story between Kathleen (Meg) and Joe (Tom) was really sweet. What I really liked about this story was that Kathleen and Joe bitingly battled with each other about their bookstores, but they were not aware that they had emailed each other with no real names. Both Katheleen and Joe were mature enough to stay within set boundaries which they based on their online relationship. Kathleen’s screen name was “ShopGirl” and Joe’s screen name was “NYC152”, still they kept in touch with each other without meeting in person or providing real names. What an incredible romance!
What I did not like about this story was that Patricia was kind of annoying woman who dated with Joe. I disliked the way Patricia was too talkative. Good news, Joe and Patricia broke up for good. Joe felt so relieved when he had to move out and lived in a fancy boat – “FOX III”. That was so nice to see this name on a boat.
A love story between Kathleen and Joe was just quite nice one. I am glad to see Kathleen found a true love and her wish came true since she wanted “NY152” to be Joe.
If you have not seen this movie yet, you should …
