Today, I am writing a blog post here shortly before I leave for Christmas. I have my top 3 great Christmas movies you may choose to watch while staying at home with your family and friends on Christmas day.
1) The Polar Express
This is our family’s favorite Christmas movie. When my sons were young, we watched this movie on Christmas day. We loved that! It was about the young boy who was skeptic about Santa Claus and Christmas. He thought that Santa Claus was fake. One night, the young boy heard the train coming so he was willing to ride in the train to the North Pole. The young boy found himself on an extraordinary journey, making two new faithful friends, and – finally meet Santa Claus.
2) A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol was incredibly fabulous! It was about Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge who thought that Christmas was nothing, and he criticized one loyal clerk and one lighthearted nephew without remorse. Later that night, Scrooge faced the ghost from the business partner he was used to work with in the past. The ghost cautioned him to be ready and meet three spirits. Through the journey with three spirits in different times (past, present, and future), Mr. Scrooge successfully changed his bitterness to friendliness. Mr. Scrooge spent his time wisely visiting his nephew, and he also decided to raise his loyal clerk’s salary. What an amazing transformation!
3) Home Alone
Home Alone was totally fun! It was great time full of laughter! We admired this movie!
It was about Kevin McAllister, who was only an eight year old boy, was left alone at home while his family was away for Christmas in France. He was really enjoying his time to be alone at home for awhile until two robbers attempted to steal from his house while the family was on vacation. Kevin had to do something to protect his house and… himself ALONE… The ingenuity of this young prankster is astounding and creative. This movie is a must-see Christmas special.
